nostrâ memoriâ fuit, (inquit Gellius l. 18. c. 6.) Romae summi quidem loci inter Grammaticos, sed maiote erat literis iactantiâ, et σοφιςεία, quam operâ. Is praeter alia, quae scripsit compluria, librum edidit de loquendi proprietate, ubi matronam eam esse dicit, quae semel peterit, quae saepius matremfamiliâs, sicuti sus quae semel peterit, porcctra dicitur, quae saepius scropha.
